Danka Dear is a self taught photographer from Australia.
Her work, rich in intensity and color, is driven by the emotion she feels behind the lens and often leaves one with wonder and awe at the world around us. Danka's lens brings attention to the tiniest insect, the most intricate details of life, sweeping landscapes and the splendor of nature itself. Danka's hope is to capture the essence and beauty of various forms of creation as it's Creator had meant it to be seen.

"Often in photography the word "capture" is used... (eg. "a great capture"). I think it's the other way around. From the moment our "inner eyes" compose the image in our mind and our "outer eyes" focus through the lens... we are the ones that are captured by what's in front of us and captivated by the moment."
